#YesAllWomen: Then and Now

Today marks the day that #YesAllWomen was first posted. This hashtag was a response to the tragedy in Isla Vista, California last year. I wanted to take this time to post my own contributions to the hashtag then, to remember that the message is still relevant today.

While it is unfortunate that such a hashtag needs to exist in the first place, it is a good tool to spread awareness across generations. Note: “Yes, all women” does not mean “All men have done this.” All women have experienced the effects of the patriarchy/kyriarchy.
